Newry Rugby Football currently field two senior teams.
Our 1st XV play in the Kukri Ulster Championship Division 3 and our 2nd XV compete in Ulster Rugby Regional South League.
With around 50 active players we train on Tuesday and Thursday evenings at 7pm either at the club pitches at Telford park or on the local community 4G.
With Rugby being a minority sport in and around the Newry area we strive to push above our weight on the pitch while enjoying the social side of rugby off the pitch.
In recent seasons the 1St XV have been competing for promotion and enjoying decent runs in the cup competitions while our 2nd XV is used as a development tool to bring on and develop players who are new to the game.
We are always keen to welcome new players regardless of ability and you will be sure to receive a warm Newry Rugby Club welcome!
